JEFFERSON COUNTY - Missouri Department of Transportation recently opened the Maupin Creek Bridge on Route WW near Grubville. This closure was necessary for a bridge replacement project that began in early March 2010.

At the time of the opening, crews closed the Ditch Creek Bridge on Route WW. Work consists of replacing this bridge, which is expected to be complete by mid-August 2010.

During the Ditch Creek Bridge closure on Route WW, motorists can use the following detours:

• North side of the Bridge - Take Route 30 west to Route FF south to Route 47 south to Route H east and back to Route WW.
• South side of the bridge - Take Route H west, to Route 47 north to Route FF north to Route 30 east and back to Route WW.
